04 Practice
Now it's your turn, prepare your own answers using some of the vocabulary you learned today.

You should use the model answers to help you and you can 'steal' some phrases but you should not copy or try to memorize the answers.

Then, practice answering the below questions. It is a good idea to record your answers on your phone then listen to the answers and correct any mistakes you can hear.

1. How do you usually go to work/school?

Because of the congestion in Ho Chi Minh City, like most people, I commute by motorcycle.

Cars are inconvenient here as it takes ages to get anywhere. Additionally, they cost an arm and a leg because of luxury tax.

2. What’s your favorite form of transportation?

I’d say motorbike.

As mentioned, they are convenient in crowded urban areas. Also, while more dangerous than cars or buses, motorbikes are definitely more exciting to drive.

3. Is public transportation in your area good?

Honestly, not really.

Although it is affordable, it’s not very reliable. A couple of months ago, my bike broke down, so I had to take a bus to work. It came later than scheduled and as a result, I arrived late.
